What a visit includes

Both plans get the same four things every time. Here's what each one is.

Mow

I mow the front yard and the backyard on every visit and keep the height even across the whole lawn.

The right height depends on your grass. Bermuda is usually cut short and St. Augustine is left taller. If you like yours at a certain height, tell me.

Trim

The mower can't get right up against a fence, around a tree trunk or along the edge of a bed. I get those spots with a string trimmer so they match the rest of the lawn.

Long grass along the fence is usually the first thing you notice on a yard that was only mowed.

Edge

I edge along the sidewalk and the driveway so there's a straight line where the grass stops and the concrete starts.

Bermuda and St. Augustine both spread with runners, and they'll grow right over concrete if nobody cuts them back.

Blow off

When the cutting's done, I blow the clippings off the driveway, sidewalks, walkways and patio.

Clippings that land on the grass stay there and break down. The ones on the concrete are the ones that get tracked inside.

Not part of the visit: landscaping, tree work, sprinklers and yard cleanups. I only mow.
