Every other week mowing

Same visit as the weekly plan, every two weeks instead of every week. It works best for smaller yards and for the slower months.

When it works

Grass slows down in the fall as it cools off, and by winter it's mostly dormant. In those months, cutting every week is often more than the lawn needs.

Smaller yards can also do fine on two weeks, since there's less lawn to get away from you.

The downside

In the middle of summer, two weeks is a long time. The grass gets taller between cuts, and it's harder to stay under the one-third rule (not cutting off more than about a third of the blade at once). If your lawn is growing fast, I'd usually point you to weekly. You can always ask.

Is the visit any smaller?

No. You still get the front and back mowed, the trimming, the edging and the blow-off. See what's in a visit.
